I use free ones such as AVG and Avast.But from time to time I do some online check as well.But the free ones also are good.

mcafee is the best of - any of other antivirus sistems cant beat the mcafee - coparated with any of them ( nod32 , avg , norton .... are simple jokes ) .... sure is payd license for mcafee but when need to be really protected and need some profesional services ....

Norton 360 for all around security << highly prefered
or use kaspesky. Both are very good antivirus/ security suites, but note the norton360 is an award wining Internet Security suite which has received many awards.
