JLP,
My prayer goes out to your family and as well as your friend JLP.
I lost my fiancé 10yrs. ago to breast cancer……it all happened so fast and she was only 26 yrs. old.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain, hpagan. I too lost my fiance many years ago - childhood sweetheart, he died of a sudden heart attack at the same age. It takes many many years to heal after a loss like that. I believe its why I was given so much joy in my husband in later years too.
I'm sure she is looking out for you.

I’m sorry to hear that mishugenah. I never realized that there’s so many out there facing similar circumstances. I guess its all part of life….I’m glad that you were able to find someone special. I just recently got happily married the 4th of April.
So far it’s been a blessing……

I agree that now is the best time. The current site is not going anywhere until the new one is completed (in the background). The main thing that is temporarily gone is the 30 day loan option. This is only so they can easily migrate data to the new site during the transitional work being done in the background.
All indications are that this will likely come when the new site is brought online, with a lot of functionality to better track all the details around loans, referral/finder fees, etc.
Meanwhile, depositing now allows you to earn a whole month or so of interest.

Jlpicard,
My heart and prayers goes out to you. I myself had a loss, my son of 15 months passed away last year. Really tough the first year, its a little better now though the wound will never heal. My faith is what has kept me from going insane. But now that we are expecting again, I'm glad Legisi and soon EBL will help me finianically.

Thanks you guys. I'll be a bachelor starting Saturday as this is when my wife is flying out. Thanks much for the prayers, good wishes and sharing your losses. It is through this kind of sharing that we are reminded that we are all connected.

Hehehehe, maybe its better this way, as I'm "gambling" on so much without leaving the house these days!

Are you serious about your wedding date? If you are, that's really spooky ... I was married on 7/11 as well (but not in Vegas). We scheduled a day in August, but someone canceled and we moved up the date. [insert Twilight Zone music here...]
Actually, epayday and I are meeting CJ (the president of EBL) later this month and I'm really looking forward to it. Hope to post some pics and a report shortly thereafter.

Only my close friends call me "Buzz" which you are now even tough we have not met in person yet.
I must tell how I got the nickname and it***8217;s OK for all readers of this thread to use it to address me. I got the nickname from my 1st job at Fairchild Test Systems in San Jose, CA.
Drinking word game:
Say ***8220;Fubbed Duck***8221; as fast as you can 3 times. When you had a few beers it starts to sound like a description of your current condition.
Well we started to see how fast we could say our initials of our first and last name and see what word it would sound like. My real name initials are B. Z. Hence BZBZBZBZBzbbzzbbzzbbbzzzbbbzzzbbbzzzzzz. So BUZZ stuck. My close friends that I still talk to from my 1st job back in 1979 still call me Buzz to this day.
I kinda miss it so please use it if you wish. I feel that you are all my close friends in this thread.
As far as the LV trip, I cannot wait. JLP and I have many ideas to kick around between each other and with CJ.
Married on or at 7/11?

Re: EarnByLoaning - earnbyloaning.com
Hi all,
Just found this forum from a link by epayday. Nice to see like minded folks discussing ebl. I'm a current lender to ebl as well. I was very impressed with jlp's charts on hyips. Very informative distributions. I'm new to the hyip arena, but am also a geek in terms of stats and legal/tax issues (from a layman's perspective, though).
I thought I would offer a few comments to add to the discussion.
First, I agree with the poster who talked about the 120 day loan packages having the best annualized rates of return, and quicker access to principal again if you wanted to do something else with it. The 365 day plans may have a slightly higher daily interest rate, but they have no opportunity to be compounded over that 1 year period, whereas there are three 120 day compounding periods in that same year. While ebl does not offer compounding within the loan period itself (it pays daily simple interest on the loaned amount), a lender could take the principal plus interest from a 120 day loan, and reloan the entire amount into another 120 loan. Even if you had already maxed out a 120 loan at $25,000 in principal, you could reloan that $25,000, and take the $16,500 in interest and begin another, concurrent 120 loan. You are allowed to initiate one new loan, at any given level, each 30 days. So, in effect, assuming you had loaned $25,000 in PLP 2-4 for example, for 120 days, at the end of that period, you could reloan the $25K for another 120 days, and start a new 120 day loan for the $16,500 in interest. Now, you've got two loans working. This process could be repeated in month 8, renew the two loans that are maturing, and begin a new 3rd loan at that PLP 2-4 level. This would, in effect, provide you with some opportunity to compound if you so desired. Of course, it cannot be overemphasized to only risk what you are comfortable risking. Many folks will take out withdrawals to recoup their initial principal before aggressively reloaning. I'm just discussing what I mean by annualized rate of return. I wanted to calculate a little chart to show me the multipliers for each loan package assuming I rolled over principal + interest to see what the result would be at the end of the year. Following are the results with ebl's current daily interest rates. These numbers include the original principal amount. So, if you started out with $25,000, you would need to subtract that out from the end number to get your interest earned. Also, I left the annualized return rate for the 120 day loans at 360 days for simplicity.
PLP: P&I per term Term # compound periods P&I @ 1 year
2-3 154% 120 days 3 365.23%
2-4 166% 120 days 3 457.43%
3-2 146% 365 days 1 146.00%
3-3 282.5% 365 days 1 282.5%
3-4 319% 365 days 1 319%
3-5 337.25% 365 days 1 337.25%
From this chart, it appears that the highest annualized rate of return is the 120 day, PLP 2-4 package, which has a maximum amount per loan of $25,000. One can also see the P&I per 120 day term: 16.5% per month is 66% for the 4 months.
Well, better wrap up this post. Sorry it's a little long. I was just so impressed with the level of discussion here that I wanted to share some of my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Martin

Re: EarnByLoaning - earnbyloaning.com
jlp,
Very exciting to see that you and epd are meeting with Craig later this month. I actually live just about a 5 hour drive east of him (Seattle area), and intend to meet him at some point myself. I look forward to you and epd sharing your insights.
Martin
