We ware under huge dos attack that cause one of our server go down around 7 hour.
A group of hackers somehow have access to 3000-4000 simultaneously connected computers, probably trojan-zombies (they would have needed to infect like 30 000 computers...), are pusing one of our servers to make them crash or the server inaccessible...
For this type of attack our dDos software/hardware firewall can’t detect as it shows the legitimate traffic.
For this type attack we need to block manually (sysadmin).
That is the main reasons it takes so long time to understood and block the attack.
