Re: Fuel Freedom International - myffi.biz (careful! Problem with refunds)
Sorry to hear about this unfortunate, tacky return policy holding you hostage, Fred.
If this company truly takes such an unprofessional stance, then (1.) I'm glad our Moderation team has already issued a fair warning in the title and (2.) I hope you file a report against them.
I've seen FFI promoted through paid-programing on television recently. I found it rather curious that the same testimonials kept being repeated about people's mileage improving from 10 to 30%, yet they never- not even once- listed the price of their capsule product. Hard to calculate the true value of the product when only specific numbers are mentioned...as was likely intended. Furthermore, I have a very skeptical eye toward MLM promoters (especially on forums) who read a complaint and use "Just buy the product in order to see for yourself" as the main argument.
I'm not saying the product is necessarily garbage, either. But, I certainly would question the price vs. performance. Aside from that, I do have an acquaintance that tried the popular FFI product, and the mileage "improvement" was insignificant, especially compared to the cost of the product.

I was extremely upset about it. The caplets cost $2.20 apiece. You use a half caplet so it cost $1.10 per 15 gallons. If you get 10% increase (I did not) you would save about $3 per 15 gallons, net. The trouble was not worth it to me and I never saw a mileage increase. There may have been some emission decrease but that is something I will never be sure of one way or the other.
My feelings about Fuel Freedom International are not good at this point.

Quit acting so ridiculous and taking this out on the Moderation.
A very respected TG member has provided his own personal experience as a warning against the FFI return policy. Consequently, it's only fair to appropriately warn our readers and members. We are ever so sorry if our attempt to look out for the wellbeing of others will slightly decrease your weekly signature hit count...
Also, if you wish to keep playing "Bash the Moderator because I didn't get my way," we can always reserve a personal WarZone spot for you. Your call.

No doubt.
However, one thing I'm rather puzzled by-
If YOUR refund was given to your upline, why hasn't he had the courtesy (dare I say the "profesionalism") to give it back to you?
Or did I misunderstand that, and in fact a refund was never issued and you were refering to your upline's commission?

Sorry Ryz, but YOU are acting in a ridicolous manner.
I always said that I believe that Fsamec is in good faith, but I'm sure he did something wrong.
You tell me that I cannot prove what I say about FFI, that I have only my personal experience. So why my personal experience is not a prove and Fsamec's personal experience is?
You all are acting like kids, the prove is your words. I'm not bashing anyone.

I already answered that but I will do it again. Because of FFI, the relationship had been so strained that he is keeping it. We very rarely talk any more and when we do it isn't good.

Ah, okay. I understand; thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, I've seen this happen a lot between friends and even family members with a nasty MLM experience. It's a shame.

How are you "sure he did something wrong?" You keep talking about personal experiences, so here's a few questions for you. Are you personally in charge of customer returns? Have you ever, personally, tried to ask for a full refund by returning the merchandise?
And, BTW, if you ask me, a true "kid" is far more obvious when he bickers instead of debating and creates bashing banners out of desperation.

Ok ok, sometimes I'm a kid too. I regret.
No, I'm not personally in charge of customer returns, but yes, someone in my downline asked for a return and he received it, directly. Because of this I say he (or his upline, probably) did something wrong. And because of this I say that you as moderator need t be more fair. But ok, this is just my opinion and experience.
