Well, here's the full official "line." Shiisa mentions that she got it last Wednesday morning:

"Hello Jan,

We are just waiting for the technical guys to check and set the connection (polarization) and it'll then be quick to move online. We have been ready and waiting each day now to go up.
The services will move online over several days while all the service links are checked.

Polarization is an issue when it comes to orienting dishes for satellite link ups. So, the claim is not crazy, per se. But it is a simple enough procedure that if they were checking that two days ago, and were otherwise about ready to go online, they would be online by now. The fact that they are not suggests that Mervyn is pulling explanations out of his anus.

Yes, there any number of 'technicalities' DX could claim are holding things up. Almost no end to it. We are nowhere near the bottom of the barrel yet. As far as excuses go.

But, gee ...they're telling us that they have their own server/transceiver setups?? A little hard to believe, isn't it? And now they have to find someone who can tweak the dish(es)? What happened to the old setups? Oh, that's right ...multiple, worldwide catastrophic hardware failures.

Right. Bank of America is watching on nervously.
