Last week, I began to have problems logging on to E-Gold. Then I signed up with a different IP, one whose browser does not use proxy servers (such as AOL and lots of other popular IPs). After that, I had no problem accessing my account, because my IP address is the same all the time. I think this may be what's going on with E-Gold.
some of you might be victim of the recent phishing mail (aug 22) coming from -e-gold.com (notice the dash before letter e) informing that your account is disabled.
please do not click on the link attached otherwise you will be giving away your login info. open the secured e-gold site in another browser.
this is probably the reason why e-gold is having a downtime.

It is long past time to hope that everything will be back to normal with e-gold. What is normal is that they will be purging themselves of HYIP and Surf related activities.

There are alternatives, but "the admins" have steadfastly refused to do anything about them. Nor have the script writers. Everyone is still pretending that e-gold is the answer, when it is not.
People WILL lose money here. Any half competant admin will have to explore the choices out there - and there are some viable ones.

One could argue that e-gold without Hyips = C-gold, Goldmoney, Pecunix or Phoenix Dollar (just off the top of my head)
Though it may not seem so, thre is a world outside of Hyips and so on that could benefit from digital currencies.
It is no secret that a lot of the e-gold income came from hyips.. just as it should have been no secret to anyone with a modicom of understanding that when e-gold went to court the playing field was not going to stay the same.
Alternatives that will be complementary to the hyip arena do exist. The players have ignored them. The admins have ignored them.
And now we have e-gold doing what it is able to do under the terms that everyone signed up with. And they are seeking to purge themselves from hyips.
The answer is to adjust and adapt and hey maybe some of the amateur admins who thought opening an e-gold account with the name Mick Mouse was clever will cease to participate.

As I wrote: my money are now safe in my bank account. I changed my payout details in almost all programs to my other old egold (but it may be blocked too some day).

In morning 2007/08/23 i surf and after cashout withdrawals.After 2 hours admin send me e-mail where write that paid me to e-gold and batch.Numbers account not write and batch no numbers.Admin remember me to vote in monitors about paid.I not see account,batch numbers.I write to Admin if they dont paid money it is scam and send e-mail.After 4 hours Admin send me answered.Where write because i said that is scam my account blocked. And my account was blocked. Money see but paid to another no. After this i write to Surf company admin and (saving your presence for this bad word-scam).Admin dont answer for me but thei to do one things i no.After 5-8 hours i go to e-gold click Contact us - Other Compliance and write about me account block. After hours e-gold send e-mail : We reviewed your account and have removed the block.Thank.It is ok.
I see this problem in all meembers internet works.All vote scam, scam,scamxxxxxxxxxx.It is bad word-devil word.Many companis have problems with payout with e-gold.Thei no scam thei have problems and not paid.In all companis work Best Hackers.It is bad word.
