Who is the we? You and how many other people?
What would you ask? Would you like chargebacks allowed? Would you want the e-currencies to accept credit cards? What about US citizens? As the most overregulated in the world, none of them are allowed to participate in hyips and autosurfs ( actually no one is allowed to offer them either really)
The market decides what is best or worst to use. The market fell upon e-gold like a pack of dogs and used the illusion of anonymity to the fullest extent. Now people are whining because the fake information they gave to e-gold has come home to roost (in some cases).
There are alternatives, and the players thus far have ignored them because e-gold was the best (which is most assuredly was). However, given e-gold owners are in a court case, it seems rather ridiculous for any thinking person to assume they could carry on "business as normal" for any extended length of time.
Hyips were the backbone of e-gold income. With pretty much every cent of "smart money" having sidled to the door, what has been left is the hyips and ponziis and surfs to keep making bread and butter. The Feds are probably just a tad miffed at this.. and on the other hand, e-golds stance of NOT supporting hyips can not really be seen to hold any water when the only thing making them money IS the hyips etc. So something had to be done.
Blocking your account is e-gold's way of saying "please leave". It might be considered wise to take the not so subtle hint and move on rather than bleating about it. You were blocked because you gave fake info - or your account is associated with someone who did. You have to also remember that the Feds are sittin around gazing over all of your transactions. They may well have people dedicated to this very activity.
So if you spent to someone who spent to someone who spent to someone who did something bad... you could be guilty by association.
This is the inherant issue of a trail. Anyone who thought there was not a trail is not the brightest spark. Anyone who thinks there is not going to be a trail in most every other option is similarly not smart.
