Having no budget makes it even more difficult. Its a lot easier if you have a budget to work with to test out traffic.

You won't know if a keyword is converting until you get traffic from it. PPC will allow you to test traffic out quickly even if your converting at a loss, you will know you have converting keywords that you can in turn target with seo and free marketing methods.

So its easier if you got money/ not afraid to lose some money.

Super hard and time consuming but way easier than starting a traditional business model if you have NO money to invest.

It doesn't have to be difficult, expensive or complicated to get into affiliate marketing and make real money. I've never used PPC and keyword advertising and still make money from affiliate stuff.

I often sell "real" products on ebay, that I never handle or see. I just buy on behalf of my customer, via my link, and have the product sent direct to them. In effect I use them for dropshipping without having to pay any dropship fees or join up costs.

It always amazes me how many ppl on ebay don't bother searching to see if they can buy cheaper elsewhere. Of course, I mark up the price to cover my ebay and paypal fees plus a bit extra for my time. This method works just as well using classified ads too. The only downside is you need a way to pay for the product while you wait for the customer's money to move from paypal to your bank account.

Obviously, if you go down the info product route then the above doesn't really apply but hey I'd rather earn 10% of something I can sell lots of every day than 80% of something I might only sell 1 or 2 of over a few months. There's just too much competition with everyone selling the same info products.

Another great thing about ebay and classified ads and using "real" products is that every purchaser gets a link, in the thank you email, to visit my website and sign up for my newsletter so I can send them further offers.

So far, it's the easiest, quickest way I've found to make good, money online. I have got a book on my Jugglingmum website (see sig below) that is great for beginners and only costs 14.90 british pounds. It might be worth checking out for anyone that doesn't want to particularly follow the crowd and try selling the same info products, as everyone else.

There are a number people that make good money selling other people's products for a commission. Those who do are very good marketers. It requires work to get the traffic needed to generate the numbers large enough to make it worth while. It takes patients to get there. Learn the many methods they use from a mentor.

After hearing alot about Affiliate marketing I decided to join in on it to see what all the rage is about. The concept seems easy enough and its not much work involved at all just matter of searching the internet; something most people do anyway. I look forward to earning some extra cash!!

Exactly right ZSMom but there is plenty of work involved if you want to earn some serious money. You need to promote, promote, promote but I suppose it depends on what each individual calls "work" really. Using the internet forums, writing articles, ebooks, etc are all things I do anyway so it's not really "work" but it does take time to start seeing results.

Once you get the formula for one product (physical or otherwise) then you just need to repeat for every other product and be prepared to wait for the cash to come in. It isn't usually instant cash but after a fairly short time you'll start to get regular payments into your accout if you keep up with the promoting.

I second that, you need to invest lots of hardwork and time in order to see results in the long run..successful results won't happen overnight..at least for my case.

Yeah, I agree with that totally, in order to be successful in affiliate marketing, you need to be standout in the product/products that you are promoting, do not forget that there are thousand of other affiliates out there promoting the same products.

So, there are works need to be done to actually seeing the results that you want. You cannot just post your affiliate link everywhere and hope that people will click and buy, people nowadays do not like to click on link and even more so if they know that it is an affiliate link.

Some effort is needed to put in to ensure that your marketing method is different from other affiliates out there and you need to be a little bit more than average to differentiate you and the other affiliates out there, so to be successful in affiliate marketing, work and effort are needed. Remember, there is no such thing as overnight riches
