GBP/JPY is my favorite pair....., yesterday I made 132 pips from this one....
Yes, the GBP/JPY and GBP/USD are good pairs to use for breakouts. The way I use the indicator from the above posts the GBP/Jpy had made about +795 pips for March and about +810 pips profit for April and this includes subtracting 8 pips spread from each trade leaving you with net profit. The GBP/USD had a -61 pips loss in March but made an impressive +1127 pips for April and this is subtracting a 4 pip spread for each trade leaving a net profit. I can't back test more months as the indicator disappears from the charts. But it's looking good and profitable by a good margin. I'm using a 30 pip stop loss and +150 pip take profit for the cable on a 30 min time frame. Seven

My broker is at GMT, then according to the above time, I must set the periodBegin at 22:00, periodEnd at 03:30
The indicator doesn't work with these setting because the starting time is higher than the ending time (the code take the same date for both, current date). I modified the indicator for those who need to shift the time before the 00:00 server time then the RED box has now the right calculation.

My broker is GMT+2 and I left everything on default to do my testing. It averaged a breakout and took profit 6 times on average each month. Then you have some miscellaneous wins maybe 5 or 6. Then the rest are a whole lot of stop outs. But it still makes profit. I'm going to foward test it now for the next 3 or 4 months and see if it remains profitable and if it is I'll trade it live. I have using this indicator , very good and easy to use .
Now still in testing hope next month can use in live account .

With this free indicator I continue to do well with daily pips made. Its very simple on the eyes and like it as one of the best. Just remember to not take the trade in the Red Box wait till the trade lines up and you will do good. Stay with the trend. Has anyone created a EA with MT4 that can trade this indicator?
