for the walmartmoneycard...i called and they asked me for ssn/dob..etc..basic stuff. I really don't even think they verify it that much as I received my card within a week of activating...the only reason it even took that long is I had just moved so I gave them my temporary address...which took the post office forever to get it to me.

I would also be interested in such a card. I asked in one of my previous posts about it but did not find any exact answer on this issue.
brdbz, if you find any information about debit cards that uses greendot or at least WU Swiftpay loading option, please let me know.

they require SSN to get the card no matter if its just for atm purposes.

what about a reseller that activates the card himself and then sells it to someone else?

they have resellers like Wal-Mart and Radio Shack, but still everyone who buys a card from one of these locations must activate the card with Greendot no matter what.
