they have resellers like Wal-Mart and Radio Shack, but still everyone who buys a card from one of these locations must activate the card with Greendot no matter what.
I understand that the personalized, reloadable cards need to be activated. It can be done by phone or on-line.
The one time use gift cards may not have to be.
I was buying the Visa gift card by Marshall bank and as of Tues 9-9-08 they stopped letting me use the card for online gambling also. Now you are saying that the Green Dot is not allowing online gambling. I am also looking for a card that I can use for that purpose so if you find one please let me know.

Can you get me greendot cards for myself and my girlfriend? I know that a company called Billetel sells these cards (www.billetel.com.mx) mainly to Mexicans to help them with money remittance to Mexico, but the cards can be purchased by anyone with an ID. I will provide one, of course.
There are two types of cards: the mastercard and the ATM maestro card. I do not need the 'mastercard'. They sell ATM maestro cards in generic (no-name) format and that's fine with me. Thanks.

I had some hosting issues that have been resolved.
I currently have access to the WalMart branded GreenDot cards. They are prepaid VISA cards.
I can refill any card you have that is in the GreenDot system.
