you and me won't live to see the day when "new materials" , will take the place of gold on the market , that's for sure , there are plenty of materials who could replace gold right now in terms of overall quality (titanium , widia etc) ......

While you may be forced to change your car soon (15-20 years) , because the gas price will eat you up , in 50 years from now you will still buy your wife , gold/platinum jewelery.....gold will remain an asset for many many years to come because the demand for precious metals is driven not only by their practical use, but also by their role as investments and a store of value.

LR is by far the best ecurrency at the moment , because it's a stable environment (offshore , 100% irreversible and great fees)....when LR Gold will be introduced this year it will replace E-gold for good.....

You are nothing but an idiot and if you want I can sell you my e-gold accounts that have 5 digits beginning by 10, like 10xxx. I was here when you probably were still learning to read.

Yes e-gold was down (not 4 or 5 days at the same time but maybe ONE day), anyway they quickly solved the problems first by using Prolexic, then by purchasing their own hardware.

LR is doing nothing but dealing with "companies" like blockdos that are managed by script kiddies that are unable to block any "serious" DDOS attack.

So LR is the best e-currency? With a site that is offline every time a botnet is used against them? With a support that is just the worse I ever saw? Let me laugh! LR is appreciated here because Talkgold is the home of scammers that use now LR for their hyips! and know what" LR is even not the best for hyip, e-gold is still better, just because their site is never offline. E-gold blocks some accounts? And what? I have more than 10 accounts (including the famous 10xxx's) and NEVER was blocked despite I managed in the last 10 years or so more gold than you will ever be able to use.

LR will introduce a gold currency? and what? YOU will verify that they have REAL gold, maybe? And even if so, what is the advantage? Seing the craps it is to unbail gold, their gold currency will have NO interest at all, UNLESS of course to be a concurrent of e-gold. But in one year LR will be just one more scam gone, and e-gold will still be here.

I remember here where OSgold was playing around, and "specialists" like YOU looooved osgold! But maybe you cannot even remember this! LR is the next about to close e-currency, they opened and have a RELATIVE success now JUST because of the e-gold situation, and I am already laughing when I will see it closing. But after all, all idiots that are scammed here by HYIP are already ready to be scammed by LR too. Some people are born to be scammed

Yes, gold will go up to 1 million USD a gram, for sure. What a bunch of idiots here, how is that possible

LR was down for me also, several times last week. They are claiming DDOS attacks. But maybe they are also having trouble serving all the new customers that are abandoning e-gold for LR.

I think there may be an explanation for the recent problems with e-gold: Gold prices went down sharply recently, and many people wanted to take their profit before prices fell even more.

Most likely, gold prices will rise again. Maybe that will ease the troubles with the e-gold site.
