Whats the status with Switzerland forex brokerage houses at this stage? I understand at one point there was no legal requirment for a license to trade forex on clients behalf (retail forex) but that they were talking about regulating it.

So do you currently need a forex license in switzerland and if not...what is the current costs of incorporation.

Just musing that this might be an option for the original poster.

for forex in Switzerland you need bank license, there was new law passed this year

the cost is ok, but as you might know the jurisdiction is as important as the license itself, a too exotic country will scare away some prospective costumers

you do not have much choice since not many jurisdiction provide brokerage licenses

I know, but thats my point, if you are cool with putting up the money for a license in a country that will give you some credibility wont it be better to put it in a country that will give you more professional status?

granted that the current crisis on argentina wont make any client particularly comfortable which an argentina brokerage house
