You got that right. Brokers are brokers and platforms are platforms... even if you don't know the difference, it doesn't matter. It won't affect your decisions and your trading. Chill out.

Easy-forex is a specialized forex platform whereas gcitrading is a forex broker offering it's platform.

Still the 2 terms forex broker and forex platform are confusing.

Easyforex doesn't have a platform. It's just a series of web pages.

The correct definition for Forex Broker would be-: A Forex Broker is a forex trader or a Registered Firm that trades forex on behalf of investors. Basically Forex Broker is a Manager who manages investor's money in the form of "Forex Managed Account".

Forex Platform acts as a link between forex markets and forex traders and allows them to trade forex.

Thanks for posting all that helpful information. Since I've seen some of you are willing to help others I would like to take the opportunity to ask a silly question. As I said before I am now demo trading with T-view Platinum and I've learned lots of things in just few weeks but what I haven't come to fully understand is about the signals, how are they supposed to be handled?

there are many signals in forex terms. It could be handled depending on your strategy; signals may be shown on your chart and then your performance will be related to the performance of the platform which allows you to trade as good as you can

I dont think they must be manipulating signal by their own. They must be keeping track of the market volatility and must be updating signals to derive the best results. What you say buddy???
