C-gold require you to provide ID. LR does not. That may change.

Your a little confused, I didn't say that WU and MG were not used in Australia, that was Okosh.
As for lying, I know folks who like to gamble and they often use fake names to send money. For two reasons, one they like privacy, and two sometimes MG and Wu limit or ban people from using their service. Using a fake name doesn't strike me as something awful, you should be able to use whatever name you want in life. That doesn't mean its ok to rip people off, but it's your name.
I think the idea of anonymous transactions is great, you can do that with cash in the real world why not online.
One other point, the desire to have privacy does not have to mean that someone is doing something wrong. Privacy has it's own value.
