Biotech stocks

Hi there everyone,

I've been thinking about investing in biotech. It just seems like a good area to have my money in... but I read an article today (http://www.nanomedicinecenter.com/ar...oing-to-waste/) that somehow changed my mind.

What do you think? Would you invest in them? Or should I find something else?

Biotech is the only industry where M & A happens. So if you buy a biotech company, you can be sure there could be a takeover target. However, Obama just recently annihilated all the pharmacy names so the biotech's took a hit. Make sure to look into the balance sheets/income statements of the companies you are buying. Biotech's are very vulnerable and very speculative in my opinion. I don't have any biotech's on the top of my head, but I really do like BMY as a drug maker play.
