Bingo! If you want to take the chance of losing your money go ahead and put it into First Oceanic Bank. I personally know of someone who FOB stole $50,000 from.
And FOB is not free, if you get their debit card and open an account you are looking at almost 600 - 1000 Euros for a fake bank account or more if they provide you a worthless Somalian IBC which is not worth the paper it is printed on.
...Or you can pay around 899 Euros and get a real offshore corporation from Belize and a real offshore corporate bank account in Cyprus with FBME bank.
Optionally, we have a program with another major Cyprus bank (not North Cyprus) with a direct IBAN, online banking and an attached debit card that allows documents scans only for an extra 800 Euros just like FOB, but with a real bank.

I don't think many people are going to be banking in the Seychelles, but going for the corp because it is *fairly* cheap and quick to set up.

A lot of clients opt for a Seychelles Entity as well as a bank account as they like to have bank acc in the jurisdiction that they register their corp. We have had fellow providers complaining endlessly about Barclays Seychelles- so many accounts pending for over mths/yr and eventually they just come back uncompleted. We strongly discourage clients against Barclays Seychelles. The only other option in Seychelles is BMI but you would need minimum deposit of US$ 5000- acc can be opened within 24 hrs....

That's true, agree- but from statistics many clients when ordering Sez co they also go for Sez account- could be the pricing playing an impact...
Yes, no need for client to be present. Personal accounts can be setup as well. As for time frame, they say that if everything is submitted within that same day the account can be opened, internet banking also available.
I guess this is another reason, aside from enhanced privacy, to bank in another jurisdiction than where you are in incorporated in...especially if it is Seychelles.
