This is a difficult one to give advice on. I myself am new to this arena of making money online. You have to be careful about what you get into though as well, there are many 'Gurus' that will show you schemes or ways that is really only going to make money for themselves.
Its like a pyramid, they are at the top and at the moment we are at the bottom!! I started about 10 weeks ago looking into ways of making money online from home, from the office even from the cafe down the road. I have already wasted a lot of time, energy and money on so called 'Gurus' who get you to purchase and then its 'right okay, now you have got this far, we'll give you the next stage next month or when you subscribe again' - basically just lining their pockets!!!
You have to be sensible about things, note what people write and what they pitch to you. Everyone says AdWords but its Google for godsake, everyone is doing it and no matter how many of millions of people their are on the internet, those millions will be working on AdWords too.
I find it hard to see how Interests and hobbies don't come into it, if you like to swim are you going to make a lot of money out of being a pool attendent? No. You find products that markets need. Simple.
I am far from experienced in this crazy world of making money online but from what I have learnt in everyday business so far, using a little common sense and sifting through the rubbish I have heard so far on the web I am well on my way now!
Anyway I hope this helps and be curious to hear what everyone else thinks?
