So, in a nuthsell, you're ok with them manipulating the price as well as your orders, as long as they're 'nice' about it on the phone.

To each his own, I suppose.

I am ok with doing whatever they want to do as long as I get the price I see and I think I am getting. Floor price doesn't intrest me at all. We just had a talk about it yesterday on one of the forex forums, when eur was moving fast down and a person from the UK had different price compared to another in the US for 10 pips at that particular time. They used different broker, but both MT4. This could be due to various reasons but the fact was that they couldn't agree prices at any point in time. So whatever price broker has, as long as the spread is small and as long as I get what I see I am fine.

They all manipulate prices one way or another unless you have a platform where you can see the pit (which there is at least one I know of but they won't accept anyone as they give you a test and you have to pass for intermediate broker at least), and some (as I am sure you know) spike prices and take your stops and pretend they didn't know so you have to call and argue to get that position back and in the mean time you miss a move, some increase a spread in the middle of your trade etc etc. They all cheat, but as long as I get what I see...That is the bottom line.

Ok, I'm getting close to a point where I'm probably going to get a warning dished out at me, because I want to tell you that you're talking a load of crap...

Instead, I have a couple of questions...

1. Can you explain "Floor Price" in the context of Forex to me?
2. Can you explain "See the Pit" in the context of Forex to me?
3. Can you name the one broker that can "see the pit", but won't accept any clients unless they pass a test?

Just an anecdotal note on my way out, I think you get exactly what you 'see'.

Contrarian, this is not fair, and I am not going to get into this discussion as would have to mention names of the brokers.

Secondly, different countries have different rules, for eg spreadbets are not allowed in the US but in the UK they are and people use them as they don't pay tax. Not many people from the USA know that.

There are rules in the USA that don't apply in Spain for eg, and many in the Cyprus that wouldn't apply anywhere else...and so on.

And perhaps my terminology is not "accurate" in your view, but to call people names is not nice. And in particular, because I am a lady . And a very educated lady and a very nice person. So you shouldn't talk to people like that.

Sorry I will not discuss this any further as I don't think personal insults add any value to discussion as it doesn't get us anywhere. It is a forum and not a business meeting where people can have "facts" in front of them to defend their point.

Most of the programs on this forum are scams but 1000's of people would argue they are not as they "have been paid" at the moment. It doesn' change anything, they are scams. So please don't insult anyone.
Discussion finished! But I don't hold it aainst you. Not that you care, of course.

What is not fair? Me calling you out on statements you made for all to see?

So what if you mention the broker's name? You're not doing any pr for them, I asked you a direct question, which I'm sure you can respond to.
If you get warned, I'll take responsibility for seeing it is removed.

What the point of all this? (besides a dodge)

Oh, your terminology is just fine.
What names did I call you?

I don't discriminate... 'Ladies' talk as much rubbish as 'Gentlemen', again, not sure what your point is.

Yada, Yada, Yada, what?
I didn't ask you how nice you were, or how educated you are, did I?
See questions in the previous post above, if not sure.
Talk to people like what?!

Dodge. And please point to personal insult.

Quote:

So, what you are saying, is that it is ok to say things "without facts" in a public forum?
If not, can you please enlighten me as to what you mean.

Dodge.
What has any of this to do with what I've asked you?

...well... no you're right, I don't.

I don't see why the discussion is finished. I said I think you're talking, erm, nonsense, (nice enough word for you?).
Now, do you want to tell me otherwise, show me otherwise, object, post an opposing opinion, anything of value at all?
Or are we just letting it stand as that.

For me the best broker is the one which lets you have small start, doesn't have "unusual" spikes which will take out your stops and after that you need ages to argue with them if it was a true spike or their fault, the one which lets you earn comission on referral without being an IB and the one which gives you some trading guides, not neccesarily signals, but at least some pointers where we are going. If all that is on one page, and I don't have to use different sites to find info, I am happy. Oh yes, customer service, live help all that.
