Two more wins with ATC as of today: http://apatc50.mt4stats.com/ , with the account balance going up by +$7 727.79. On the FXCBS account ( http://jbfxcbs.mt4stats.com/ ), the robot rook a relatively large losing trade on July 15 (only one loss of this sort occurred on its backtest since 2005), but is now on the way to a fast recovery.

Just noticed - one more big profitable trade on both ATC and FXCBS. The FXCBS account has now got some $70 left to recover fully, while the ATC account is up to $58 304.01, with +$8 304.01 of pure profit.

Just a couple questions if you don't mind:
#1: How did you decide upon these 2 brokers?
#2: Do you feel like the choice of broker to run Megadroid is critical or not?
#3: With the NFA rules, will people need to use a non-USA broker to use Megadroid?
#4: If you wanted to change brokers you would have to buy another Megadroid license, you couldn't just switch and use the same license?
#5: The demo can only be used on one broker or as many as you want?
#1: How did you decide upon these 2 brokers? Did you run demos on other brokers and pick the ones with the best results or backtests or what?
These are ECN brokers. An ECN (Electronic Communication Network) broker charges a small commission for every trade, but provides you with direct access to the market with no delayed or manipulated quotes. I ran demo tests with both brokes for about a month before going live.

Yes, there is - ATC's demo test showed better results.

It sure is important. I suggest that you pick some reputable ECN broker.

I will just let it run continuosly. At least, until I am in an urgent need of money.

Of the ones I've used, this is the best one so far. I ran about 10 other robots on small live accounts, but their results were rather unsatisfactory.

I don't see such a need. MegaDroid's concept does not rest upon hedging or sequence of trades closure.

You can just switch with the same copy of the EA. It's not that much of a problem to pick a good broker, as long as it is ECN.

On demo accounts, you can use it on as many brokers as you wish. On real accounts, you need a separate copy of the EA for each broker.

Do you also trade manually or just use robots, if you don't mind answering. You seem to be pretty passionate about EAs and quite experienced. Would like to hear more of your philosophy about what makes trading using a robot better than manual trading if you feel that way. Myself from what I can tell, manual trading seems like it could be fun but after a while it's a real chore it takes up your time and attention while a robot you can just do other things while it chugs away. So even if I had a good manual trading system but it would require me to sit in front of a screen all day, I might prefer the robot even if it didn't make as much profit. Is that how you see it too? (Even 1 hour a day devoted to manual trading takes up alot of creative energy or could. And you have to be consistent with your trading method and execute it consistently. So it's alot to do I guess.)

I tried to trade manually for a bit when I was just starting on Forex, but then switched to robots. Like most of us here, I have a day job, unrelated to Forex, and simply don't have enough time to become a full-time trader. Moreover, robot trading does not involve any emotions, while we, humans, often get very emotional when it comes to our hard-earned money and fail to make quick, calm and rational decisions while trading. For both of these reasons, I prefer robots like Forex MegaDroid over manual trading.

With three more trades yesterday (all profitable as usual), MegaDroid has now hit +$11 011.39 of pure profit on my ATC account in less than three months: http://apatc50.mt4stats.com/ . On the FXCBS account ( http://jbfxcbs.mt4stats.com/ ) four trades continue to stay open - just goes to show a huge difference between various brokers, including the ECN ones.

Nice results so far. Are you going to be running Megadroid Pro?
It's interesting how you don't get the same trades on both accounts. Since 6-24, your ATC account had 10 trades while the FXCBS had 16. Funny thing is the FXCBS had 4 trades on 7-29 that's alot and the ATC account had no trades that day. The day before on 7-28 your ATC had 3 trades while the FXCBS has none. Strange. Guess it has to do with the spread?

I haven't bought FAP Evolution with which MegaDroid Pro was coming as a free bonus. So I guess I will now just wait until its full-fledged launch and buy it then.

I also think it's because of the spreads difference. Anyway, my yesterday's four open trades with FXCBS all closed in profit as well: http://jbfxcbs.mt4stats.com/
