Many have used our services, unfortunately everyone that uses our services do not always take he time to provide some feedback. I have recently sent out some followups requesting them to provide feedback here. What I would ask of anyone intersted, is if and when you do utilize our services, please take the time to provide some feedback so that others that are interested can have a little more information to base their decision to purchase.

I used them very recently (cliffscard). They are fine. Fast and so far very good. Cards seem to work. What else can I say. I have been posting here for some time and am slow to give a reference but this one is well deserved. Good outfit.

Let's cut to the chase. CliffsCard are honest and provide an excellent fast service. Now for those who are still in doubt I'll write a little more detailed review.

When I first discovered VCCs I was very excited. This sounded like just the kind of thing for me since my job is not regular and my bank does not offer me a credit card. Then I found out that the site I almost sent money to was a scam. I looked high and low for AGES for a company I could trust but always held back. Then a few weeks ago I discovered CliffsCard. The first thing that struck me was that they had a paid sticky. The fact that they were paying for advertising rather than taking a free ride on popular forums was positive. It showed CliffsCard were ready to invest to attract customers. I took a look through their website and saw it as simple, yet professional. I still had my doubts so I emailed a few questions. They were answered very quickly. I did a google search about them but didn't find much apart from an advert posted on a scam busting website/forum. It was silly of cliffscard to advertise on such a website. When you do a google search and that site comes up on the first page you won't feel very pleased but I'm here to tell you CliffsCard IS NOT a scam. I eventually took the plunge and bought my first VCC ever. When I paid at Western Union I still wondered whether I would ever see anything out of the $140 I was sending. Thankfully I did. About two hours after I paid I had my credit card details delivered. Great!

So what about the service? I tried the card on some small websites and even on mega popular ones like ebay, applying for paypal etc and it worked seamlessly everywhere. Pre and after sales service are excellent. Whenever you have a query it is answered in a very short time and CliffsCard always try to help. They genuinely take up suggestions by customers to make the service better. Example: On their site they initially had an option where one could switch currencies while ordering so I switched to my local currency (euro). CliffsCard emailed me back saying I shouldn't pay in euros because it would be more expensive for me. Next time I went to the site I realised the option to change currency had been removed to make sure no one pays more than they should. You've got to appreciate the effort CliffsCard are putting into the business.

One more thing I like about CliffsCard is that they are situated in the U.S.A. With all due respect to other nationalities I personally feel safer buying from someone from the U.S than a war torn country or a country synonomous with scams! (I won't mention any nationalities here but we all know who they are). Too many VCC businesses start out well and disappear up in smoke because no more cards can be provided. The way I see it a U.S provider is less unlikely to have the card-provider halt business all of a sudden.

If there's one thing I would like to see CliffsCard provide in the future it's reloadable cards (and maybe plastic cards too). Non-reloadable cards can be a bit of a pain if you end up with lots of loose ends. You can easily find yourself with a bunch of small amounts of money on different cards which you cannot group together and spend on one thing but this is a gripe directed towards all non-reloadable VCCs not something specific to CliffsCard. That said I feel liberalised with this card. For far too long I felt ostracised from doing business online because of the lack of a credit card, sometimes having to go through cumbersome proicesses to get something without a card or having to embarass yourself and ask a friend to lend you a card. Whether it's that business trip or just a book you want to buiy you can just do it on your own terms with CliffsCard and that is excellent news. A way of avoiding loose ends with your cards is to order customised amounts cards (if you know the exact amount you want to pay for a one off thing). CliffsCard offers this excellent service on request, although p[ersonally I'd rather go for more because you never know what you might come across. I just wish it was reloadable.

CliffsCard also offers two other great innovative services (I haven't seen them offered anywhere else). Unfortuantely here is the one bit where I have a gripe. Alterantive service 1 is a U.S.A SMS sevice. You can receive a confirmation text message from websites for a price. In my humble opinion the text messages are a bit too pricy. $100 for an SMS to me sounds like a little too much (there's also $200 for three text messages and $300 for five text messages). On some forum or other I came across someone suggested using the CliffsCard text message service to someone else who was looking for exactly this kind of service but the guy was dissuaded from buying the service simply because it was too expensive. Everyone considers text messages to be a cheap form of communication so I wonder what makes it cost so much, especially compared to the very reasonably priced cards. A reduction in price or at least a justification of it would certainly be welcome. Maybe as business picks up the prices of these text messages will go down.

The second alternative service is the bill payment fee. For a flat fee (which still has to be announced on the website, hopefully not too high) they will get a USPS Money Order and send it wherever you need it to be sent. I'm quite interested in this service because many websites ask for payment by money order. This is a good, innovative service which can come in handy at times.

The bottom line is this. CliffsCard are trustworthy, fast, offer an excellent service and are clearly in the business for the longhaul. May they become as synonomous with VCCs as ebay are with auctions and amazon with books. With them you can shop with peace of mind.

My rating is 8.5/10 (it would be higher if they had more sevices and the text messages didn't cost so much)

I am just a happy customer who thinks CliffsCard deserve more attention. The dearth of posts in this thread are astonishing compared to how many known scammers or semi-scammers have threads running well over ten pages. CliffsCard even offered a bunch of free cards to senior members which no one took up! I find this truly mind boggling. What more do you want than free money? TalkGold should do more to expose scams and praise the good ones. How about a sticky with this info? CliffsCard would top the honest ones. Mark my words.

First of all let me say thank you for taking the time for making such an elaborate and defined post as you did. It is amazing at how much you noticed and pointed out. Some of what you mentioned, I had no idea anyone noticed. It is good to get feedback on such a level that you have provided. To touch on some of the things you mentioned; I am currently in the process of researching and offering other card services such as reloadable & hard plastic. With the SMS service I was wondering if it was too pricey myself. I will be adjusting those prices to better comply with the needs of the customer. The USPS Money Order Flat Rate Service will be available and added to the website by next week at the latest. I am glad you find our services so pleasing. We will ensure to continue to provide good quality service to all.
