I put in a $2000.00 OutExchange (e-gold, PayPal eCheck) about 18 hours ago and so far received a "warning" that PayPal might lock the account for receiving a large payment. I told them to proceed anyways.
I'll let you know how this goes.
As an update: This order was processed. There was a discrepancy regarding the amount sent, as we made a small error with regards to the currency exchange. This discrepancy was resolved.

This order was received on Sunday. As the banks were closed, we could not process the order until today (Monday). This order has been processed, and you were sent an e-mail confirmation approximately six hours ago. Please check your Spam/Junk Mail box, as this notice may have been incorrectly sorted.

We appreciate your support. However, please note that we do not have delays due to larger orders. We warn clients wishing to Out-Exchange more than $1000 via Paypal of the infamous "hold your funds until you provide verification documents" scenario practiced by Paypal. However, we still process these transactions if our clients insist, and all transactions, regardless of the amount requested/sent, are completed within hours (up to one business day).
Yeah! I do agree but it would be very nice A plus if Midas can send courtesy email follow up with clients if they send email for inquiry than silence. It will boost customers confidence.

All e-mail inquiries were replied to throughout the day. Upon noticing these complaints, we sent a few e-mails to our accounts on other servers, and received them within moments. If you did not receive a response to your inquiry, we ask that you re-sumbit said inquiry and accept our apologies for this inconvenience. Thank you.
I've just finished conducting business with M-Gold. I was interested in buying some E-Gold and contacted M-Gold. We agreed upon a mailed money order, which costs way less than wiring the same sum of money (less than $100). It took 6 business days for the envelope to reach M-Gold. Upon receiving it, they immediately transferred money to my E-Gold account. Highly recommended!

E-gold sell fee went up again, 5% to 8%. Will that be the fee for a while, or will it adjust again shortly? I found the 5% fee attractive, especially to offset the $50 wire fee (double that of other exchangers).
