You guys have AWESOME service. As long as you stay reliable, I'll stay a client. But seriously, your bank is sticking you between the ribs on that wire fee. $50?! I know it's not you guys, it's your bank, but that's exorbitant. Most banks will do it for around half that.

I hope the time will come that your e-gold commission drops back to 5% from 8. That alone could make you the #1 exchanger, in my book.

International wires from a few different USA banks to Europe have cost me $45. Fee is not far off if they are sending international wire. I am not sure if it is any different between USA to Canada, still international.
Domestic USA wires commonly cost me $25.

Maybe it is different in Canada. I recently had to send an international wire and called several banks in my area (USA), and they averaged $25-30 to send.

But M-gold's fast service is certainly worth quite a bit.

M-Gold seems like an honest group of people but I cannot say I was entirely impressed with my transaction. I exchanged $2000.00 e-gold to PayPal eCheck which to my surprised arrived as CAD (so I had to pay PayPal another 3% to exchange it) with a slightly incorrect exchange rate (which M-Gold did fix after being called on it).

After that I was sent funds from PayPal balance from another account and told that there was a "problem" with the initial account (so I guess the eCheck will bounce?). I'm not sure what the deal is with this but I do not like receiving funds from PayPal balance and I still haven't checked to see if the fees were correct on this new payment.

I might try them again with a wire at some point.

USA exchanger need license to transmit money via financial situation, without it, they will be put in jail up to 5 years, and pay fine up to 200.000$, in order to get that license, the exchanger needs to register the business, get an expensive license, and have to comply all law, and buy bond of 500.000$ .

If there were an official US exchanger, that service would be expensive to cover these costs.
