product/brand piracy is illegal, thus if ebay catches you they will not let you do it..
What if you state that it is replica in the auction??? I wonder how many sellers on any given day have replica products up on eBay???
I used to sell Nike Replica shoes on eBay... I kind of got sucked in to the replica shoe market before I even knew I was selling replicas! A few years back all suppliers used to say "yes we have authentic products" but I found out the hard way... I probably got up to 30 feedback score and then got banned from ebay and paypal from buyer complaints.. The fact of the matter is people are willing to buy replica products if they can save $200 or even $1000 just to get that "certain look". Most people know they are replicas, (the people i sold to anyways..) , The problem is selling them legitimately and staying under the radar. If you can do that there is great profit to be made.
Yes auctions for copy tiff etc. if found out will get pulled and the seller banned.
Also sooner or later if you get away with selling a few buyers will complain about the jewellery being low quality, plated not solid silver, obvious low quality copy packaging etc. And ebay will ban the seller after the complaints about the copies.
