I remember you could sign up anonymously in the past, what do they require now for ID ?

How do buy and sell e-gold ? Huge spreads ?

The deal simply is that e-gold from now on will be a very secure payment processor, but no users will be anonymous like before, because of the US government intervention.
So will never be used for ventures like HYIP-s for ex, or any online scams.

Account creation is turned off at the moment so they don't require anything, Best to just check e-gold blog once a month for updates.

If you already have e-gold accounts your member area will explain the id required for them. Its been a long time so don't quote me on that part. I do know there was no date it had to be done by.

Why is account creation turned off ? What are they waiting for ? Any legal obstacles ?
