I have been in business online for 5 years. In 2008 my online business grossed $33,000 and that is with 2 people (including myself) working full time.
It's hard work but it's achievable. This year we are on schedule to gross just over $40,000. Paying 2 people monthly and covering business costs I earn barely $1,000 per month. In other words: NOT VERY MUCH!

So much money being made online "supposedly", I'm wondering if anyone is actually making a substantial amount online and is willing to PM me about it.
So does anyone actually make over $3,000 a month and feels comfortable to talk with me?

I personally know a guy that makes about double that every month and it's pretty stable. Now he is teaching me how to do it, but sadly I can't yet say that I am making thousands a month... truth is it takes time and since I don't have much to start with it takes longer. I think anyone can make $3,000 a month online, but the hard part is getting there and staying consistent with your earnings.
I think it's a real thing to make 3k monthly on-line, but the sum of investing should be really big, what if the project will stop paying later, than you lost a lot. I think the project should be stable and without some unreal on-line opportunities.

I agree, it no problem to reach 3k in a mont as long as you have big fund to invest, may be 10k is minimum amount.
I have been working full time online for years, and yes, I have made over $3K a month, but one thing I will say, my income has been slowly dropping while my effort has had to increase to compensate for severe recession.
My strategies are different than most, I work several businesses, similar to a portfolio approach given the market trends are constantly changing, it is impossible to rely on one company or one aspect of online marketing. I was earning over $3K on PPC alone a couple years ago, but the sucking sound you hear is at Google, just look how their profits have been dropping like a rock, PPC is not what it use to be, incomes are dropping like a rock of affiliate marketers too.
Simply put, I focus only on recession proof businesses as it is near impossible to make the same money selling the usual overpriced products we see promoted everywhere online. With the competition 100 times more in affiliate marketing than it was a couple years ago, the amount of people making money in affiliate marketing is also dropping like a rock, this is why you see an increase in eBooks hyping affiliate and PPC marketing, most of these so called strategies no longer work, so let the fire sales begin. lol
It all comes down to value in a severe recession like this. One thing everyone is looking for today, consumers and businesses alike in saving money. If you can offer true verifiable savings on products and services they are already using, then you have half a chance to make $3K plus a month. If you are trying to sell the same old same old overpriced products most online businesses are pumping, you had better be a super salesperson if you hope to earn more than you burn trying. Most are seeing their profits drop like a rock, I know I have, and I work it hard, the recession is impacting everyone if they are honest.
