So, I've wanted to open a bank account somewhere around the world for paypal purposes. As the country I currently resident in isn't paypal supported for withdrawal and receiving cash over PayPal what options do I have. I know that US bank is an option and has been for awhile, but seeing that guys over at offshoreprivacy don't do it anymore, chances for opening it without actually going to US are pretty slim. My other thought is UK, although I'd like to find a cheaper alternative. Any recommendations?

As far as I know, the Paypal crap will only accept a US bank account if you reside in a country not supported by Paypal for bank withdrawals.

If the account is just to withdraw from Paypal, getting a US account is your best option. There are many online accounts that come with debitcards that you can get. We have some and so do others (visit the debitcards folder).

Withdrawing from Paypal is really not a problem.

Virtual bank accounts with cards are good for short term solutions, however you greatly increase the risk of PayPal limiting your account as per the above PayPal does NOT allow withdrawal to US prepaid cards, only full checking or savings accounts.

It usually does not take PayPal too long to figure this out. For example, even after the VMI card changed banks, PayPal only worked for a very short time (weeks) before they disabled the routing number of the new bank and limited those accounts connected to the cards/accounts.

The biggest problem with these card programs is they are used for PayPal and Ebay fraud and this results in PayPal figuring it out quickly and even the card program getting closed.

If you run a serious business you need a serious solution, not a "Mickey Mouse" solution.

Other than VMI do you know of any or is this just more wishfull thinking on your part?

I don't belive Virtual Bank Account safe with Paypal. Have many account limited when we add Virtual Bank

You need an actual US Bank Account not a "Virtual Bank Account"

For any real PayPal use, we always setup people with a U.S. PayPal account with U.S. Bank Account and Debit Card.
