Re: Sliding oa rule doesn't start until Aug. 25
Just for ease of reference, here it is:
In recent weeks some user have been experiencing a higher than normal increase in the DXPortfolio's TDV and Available DXDebit as a result of continued transfer to Reserve Balance from the Available DXDebit. In turn, this has also had a similar increase in their DXPortfolios OA fee as a result of the increasing TDV.
Following the recent review of the DXPortfolios, several changes to the DXPortfolios structure have been adjusted as well as several new tools added to aid users in the management of the DXPortfolio.
The DXPortfolios are intended to be a long term asset base to which a user can call upon when they need it. It's design mandates that the increases in TDV be evenly distributed to all DXUsers and all operating criteria be applied with all DXPortfolios in mind.
Scheduled today was an increase to the DXDebit Increment portion of the OA fee. This increase however, has been delayed for a further 30 days to allow users to perform their own review of their DXPortfolio and make any adjustments as they see necessary. Following this thirty day period the Increment Portion of the OA fee will be increasing on the 'Standard' OA fee only.
It is always advised that a DXUser monitor their DXPortfolios balance and OA Fee values to ensure that it is within their capabilities. Should the OA Fee or value of your DXPortfolio exceed what you are capable of operating, you wish to review the options of the Balance Manager to reduce the overall value of the DXPortfolio to (in turn) reduce the DXPortfolios OA Fee.
If you would like any advice as to possible management options for your DXPortfolio, please don't hesitate to contact the DXSupport Team.
For information on how the new OA fee and how it will operate please see DXHelp Topic ID #638 Internal OA Fee Increment/Extra Charge.

Have to bare in mind that as long as you pay your OA Fee from Incoming Balance, this sliding scale OA Fee doesn't affect you in the slightest and it is best to list all of your DXDA for OutXchanges and bring it back in to Incoming Balance to both pay your OA Fee and buy digots to increase your TDV, whether you have a DXMerchant Console, or just a DXPortfolio.

Re: Sliding oa rule doesn't start until Aug. 25
What we all should do is utilise all of our DXDA by listing as many large OutXchanges as we can across various External Accounts and once they are processed ,bring those funds back in to Incoming Balance, then hold enough funds there to pay your 'Discounted OA Fee' and with the rest increase your TDV by purchasing digots. This is the system cycle we need to follow and the only time you should ever use the Balance Manager is if you are coming upto your OA Fee payment date and you are a tiny bit short of the required amount in your Incoming Balance. You should then use it just to pull your TDV back a bit and hence reduce your upcoming OA Fee to what you can manage. Reducing your TDV a tiny bit doesn't matter a great deal because you will soon make that back up in time.

Re: Sliding oa rule doesn't start until Aug. 25
I have all this months oa fees in incoming. My plan is to have two months worth of funds in incoming. Stay one month ahead. I think that is a good plan for me. I know the money isn't making me anything sitting there but it is worth the peace of mind. amy

Why should you keep 2 months fee sitting idle in IB when you are getting autoins regularly. Anytime you can process claims and bring the money there.

Re: Sliding oa rule doesn't start until Aug. 25
My fees are big and I don't get big autoins with any regularity and I always do out/x with autoins to keep my float above the min. I have it set at. Everyone is different with how they run their accounts. This is a good way for me right now with how my life is going too. amy
