St.Mary's is the top team in the Western Conference and will be looking to bounce back from a loss at San Diego St where they were held to a season low 39% shooting from the field. On Thursday the free NCAAB Power Play is on the Xavier. Game game 710 at 9:00 eastern. Xavier comes in with revenge from a 1 point 69-68 loss at Butler last season. Now they get a Butler team that is not as talented as last year and already have a couple of bad losses, especially the one at home vs Evansville. Butler is just 1-4 in road games with a total of 135 to 140. Tonight they catch a Xavier team with a week of rest and preparation for this game. Xavier is 32-1 at home the last 3 years. The one loss. On Friday the NBA Free Play is on the Phoenix Suns. Game 820 at 9:05 eastern. The Suns come into this one off back to back losses and double revenge for a pair of losses in Portland this season. Now they catch the Blazers off a big home dog win against Orlando last night. The Blazers are 1-4 ats this season after allowing 85 or less points. Even worse for Portland is their record in Phoenix with no rest. They are 0-6 straight up and 1-5 ats in this role. When they play on the road with no rest as an underdog and scored 90 or more as a home dog they are 0-5 straight up and against the spread the last few years. On Saturday the Free NCAAB Play is on Hofstra. Game 542 at 4:00 eastern. Hofstra has better numbers and has won the last 4 in the series with Florida Atlantic. Hofstra is 11-2 after scoring 80 or more points and was an impressive winner last year in Florida. Florida Atlantic has some dismal numbers in this one. They are 7-33 overall vs winning teams and 4-12 after scoring 60 or less in their last game. When installed as a dog they have lost 35 of 42 times. They have not played in a week since there win over South Florida. Look for Hofstra to improve on their 4 game win streak with a win here today. On Wednesday night the free NBA play is on the OK. City Thunder. Game 512 at 8:05 eastern. The Thunder are off a big 29 point win and cover at home vs the Hapless Cleveland Cavaliers. That big win sets them up in a nice 49-17 system tonight. What we want to do is play on home favorites of less than 10 that are off a win of 28 or more points, provided they did not lose as a home dog in their prior game. Ok. City won here by 17 points back in November. Houston then returned the favor with a 1 point home win.
