Chase certainly has a 2 week + time frame now. Purchased some yesterday and was told 2 days, as always, then received a phone call today saying a MINIMUM of 2 weeks, most likely 3. That tells me alot considering I have been INVESTED in the dinar for a long while now. Bush dropped some hints last night, and things are looking up. Godspeed my friend.

It now appears shortages are showing up all over the world. My Jordan source has been out for months, and dealers have been out as well, now we here the same at the few banks that were supplying dinar.

What really caught my attention was how few were still selling on eBay. There were over a hundred pages a few months back, now barely five at last look, and the prices are through the roof, almost double of what they were last year. Average per mil is $1,200. plus now, so no matter how one looks at this investment, no one has lost a dime, and most have made a healthy profit to date, so I suspect we won't be hearing the old tired naysayer statement of expensive wall paper or toilet paper anymore. LOL

HYIPS are so dangerous. These are con men who care the least when marketing their art. There are many out there who are losing money day and nite.

Investing in Iraqi Dinnar is a high risk. The Civil war there is a good pointer. Suppose the Islamist overthrow the Government? Can you imagine what will happen?

-No devaluation
-Currency not freely convertible to keep the IQD in Iraq

Good point,

If U.S. ever pulled out, I am sure they would also pull out all their weapons supplied to Iraqi's, so those with the biggest knives would be in power, wonder which group will win, the shiites are dominant, so all that you would see happen is shiites take contol whereby under Saddam, it was the sunni.

Oh well, life goes on, just as the economy will, and with no mug of Saddam on notes, or anyone of concern, even then there would be little need to change currency since it already has the highest level of security features, and no matter who takes control, it is still Iraq. I don't see any circumstance that would indicate a need to print new currency.
