The fact is, buying dinars (paper money) is worthless.
If the dinar gets pegs to the dollar today, no bank on earth outside of Iraq will exchange it.
In 4 years, no bank outside of Iraq will exchange it.
And in 2010, there will be 1 middle eastern currency so by then your dinars would be worthless.
This is the purpose for having an Iraqi bank account because anything involving the dinar will take place in Iraq and in Iraq only.
Also, be aware of Iraqi stock exchange scams (ISX). True, you can buy hords of Iraqi stocks for less than half a penny, but the ISX is closed to foreign investors. I only know of 2 ways around this.
(1) Unless you have thousands of dollars to join a a co-op group that happens to be physically in Iraq, there is no way you can invest.
(2) Warka bank is taking stock picks but won't be able to place the order until the ISX opens. But at least you'll be in first when the ISX opens.
Investing in the ISX is extremely risky. A simple car bomb can set stocks backs for years.
But if all goes well, you will be in major profit.

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments
Some information:
Today we are going to discuss why China and India
might be the key to the possible rise of the Dinar.
It starts with population.
Here Are The 10 Most Populated Counties In The World:
Rank Country Population
1 China 1,298,847,624
2 India 1,065,070,607
3 United States 293,027,571
4 Indonesia 238,452,952
5 Brazil 184,101,109
6 Pakistan 159,196,336
7 Russia 143,974,059
8 Bangladesh 141,340,476
9 Japan 127,333,002
10 Nigeria 125,750,356
China and India are the only two countries on the planet
with populations greater than 1 billion people.
The United States isn't even close.
Up until recently both countries have been far less
advanced industrially than any of the more developed
countries.
That has begun to change.
Both China and India are growing their industries and
there is one thing that industry needs.
Oil -- and lots of it.
With 1 billion people in each country, the need for
oil is going to become greater and greater.
The oil prices are already steadily rising and don't
seem to have any chance of stopping.
Saudi Arabia's oil production capacity is running at
nearly their full potential which means we (and progressively
more importantly China and India) are going to need
to get their oil from other places.
Our bet is that Iraq will be the hotspot that everyone
needs to turn to for oil.
It seems almost certain that this must happen.
We just need to hope the rebels in Iraq cannot
prevent this from happening.
That is literally the million dollar question.
What will happen?
We don't know. There is no way we could know.

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments
I've recently been speaking to a couple of traders in the City who mentioned the Iraqi Dinar so I thought I'd look into it and research it. You can buy Iraqi Dinars for next to nothing at the moment, their value is 0.001 to $1. Prior to the Iraqi War the value was 3ID to 1$.
They have the potential to shoot back up in time to the same level again if not higher. Experts have predicted due to the fact they have the second largest oil reserve in the world, their debts have been written off, and they have a new government that their economy will start to rise again very quickly and that in turn can only be good for the Iraqi Dinar.
If you want more details on this please pm me.
One last thing, I spoke to someone else who had the foresight to invest in the Kuwaiti Dinar straight after the War in the 90s which was then worth a dime to 1KD. He said he'd made a 6 figure sum after selling them 15 months on when they went back to $3 to 1KD.
This has to be worth a small investment.

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments offshore-wealth.com
Interesting,
As with all investment, buy low sell high, so I have to laugh when I hear that the Iraqi dnar isn't worht the paper it is printed on. This is actually true since the new currency is the latest high tech anti counterfiet just like US worthless currency is. Sort of like the issue with the penny, it costs more to mint than it is worth. (g)
So with that in mind, knowing that the currency is worthless in many peoples minds, technically, it is worth more than you think. As a newly minted currency, there is no way they will go through another currency exchange, and because Iraq is in the news 7/24/365, what other currency is so well promoted without it being on exchange yet.
Those who talk about civil war, this is even more interesting given Iraq has been in civil war for centuries. Just because one side of war was government does not make it any less a civil war, now does it? Heck, for as little as $30. your can receive a sample pack of uncirculated currency and who knows, perhaps peanuts can turn into millions some day, but go down, that would be hard to imagine. LOL
Good luck to all,
Invest Peanuts for Millions

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments
Just found this information on a website that has nothing to gain by giving out this info. They are not selling any Dinars themselves. Unfortunately they're not taking on any new members at the moment.
https://www.iraqdinarcentral.com/signup.php
Pm me for more info and where to buy.

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments
Once again, and for the final time.
The Dinar
outside of Iraq
is worthless.
When the Dinar pegs, those dinars sitting in that box under your bed will be worthless.
Outside of Iraq = Worthless
Buying paper Dinars = Worthless
Dinar = $0
Your investment HAS to be in an Iraqi bank because the Dinars have to be in Iraq in order to turn profit when the peg happens.
Anyone who sells dinars is a thief, a lier, and a scammer.
All of these dinar 4 sale sites are ran by scammers.
And if you bought dinars you have been scammed.

Re: Iraqi Dinar investments for Offshore-Wealth.com
Interesting,
So anyone selling Iraqi dinar is a scam? You will not need to be in Iraq to take advantage of the coming PEG, it is only a matter of time and it will be listed on all exchanges. There is already a strong demand for dinar even without being on FOREX exchange, and when did that ever happen before? NEVER. LOL
When was the last time you saw millions being exchanged daily off the FOREX? NEVER. Just look at all the companies popping up, so they are all scams, is that your opinion, they are ALL scams. And would you be kind enough to tell us why? Just because you feel you have to be in Iraq to cash out, come on, you have got the be kidding. This is a long term play, not jump in and jump out, so what is the rush, when PEG is released, it marks only the starting point, who knows where it will be at next year, or ten years form now.
No risk no reward, so if you prefer zero risk, then go invest elsewhere, but don't call all companies selling dinar scams, for this is plain out right ignorance in my opinion. So, I will respect yours, but in the end, I would prefer to take the risk, even if it was only the $30. mentioned for a sample package of bills and coins. Heck, I have collected US coins my whole life and hardly see a rise in them, so was I scammed thinking they would rise more than they have?
Good luck,
