removing trailing zeros isn't that uncommon, and with iraqi currencys current situation it would be expected.

doesn't affect the value though, if 10 000 could have gotten you an icecream before lopping then the 10 you would have afterwards would still buy you that ice cream - it's just more convinient to not have dozens of trailing zeros on prices.

In my opinion, iraqi dinar investment will bring lucrative profits in future since iraq has one of the biggest oil reserves in the world & one day iraq's economy will develop.
USA government has legalised iraqi dinar investment. There has to be a good reason for this

From what I understand the CBI may return your money. However you cannot send more than a 100,000 at a time. One guy I heard sent them 15 million dinars to exchange. From the USA, he was placed under arrest! Iraq then extridited him to Iraq. From what I have been told he could get 20 years in prison and his right hand could be cut off as well as his left foot. So be very careful people, this is some VERY dangerous stuff!

De La Rue gearing up for a re-print....

My Brother-in-law works for De La Rue printers in Knutsford, Cheshire as a machinist. He was the one who first told me about the new dinar when they first printed them a couple of years ago.

Anyway, he and all his workmates have been told by their supervisor that all vacation days during Sept. & Oct. are cancelled and that they will need to be prepared to do extra hours and night shifts. In the past the only times that they are ever asked to do this is when they are doing a full currency re-print for a country.
