I am not really crazy about Mac.... I believe it is a little bit overrated, and too proprietary. On the other hand it does look like with Win7 M$ finally starting to get it, and it feels like it is even faster than XP. I only used Win7 Pro, so anm not sure about other editions. Having said this, I still like Linux better.

I prefer PC. But I can understand that some people like Mac more. It is simpler to use. And it seems to be very stabile. No crashes.

Many of my friends prefer Mac.

I have not had windows crashes in years... I would not say that mac is simplier to use.... It does run on top of unix, but most dummies who get it have no idea how to use it. It does not integrate too well into windows network. So for extra pain of setting it up, you pay more, much more if you take un-fixable proprietary hardware into account. Why not get Linux instead?

I own both. Mac is good for simplicity and working "out of the box", whereas PC is more customizable and generally better suited for experienced users.

I love Mac!!
Mac is great OS. It's easy for use.
But Windows has better compatibility than Mac.

I own both MAC and PC. I used from Dos to Win7; then I used Linux and MacOS.

I guess it depends on how much experience you have on each and what you wish to do. Generally speaking, the MAC software costs while on PC/Windows the shareware/free list of applications is huge. Not mentioning the warez and torrents (for one who uses them).

I like the Mac being stable (based Unix) but if is to be on this way maybe Linux is a better idea, even if it takes more time/knowledge.

On the other hand, Win is like plug&play, I can easily get a nice application-game from a friend and just enjoy it. The only worry, keep a OS recovery disc around and backup the data to another drive.
