No, they don't screw you if you operate within their TOS.

I've had a verified PayPal account for years, It is linked to my bank account, I use it for buying/selling on eBay, buying/renewing domain names, shopping online, etc. and I have PayPal as one of the payment gateways on my e-commerce site. I have never had any problems at all.

bull. I have had my paypal with my real info for years as well. Never did anything wrong. One day I logged in, and it was limited. I called and got the limit lifted and asked them why. It is just an algorithm. You can operate under their tos for years and still get flagged. It can be for anything. Whether you move to a new state or you start transferring larger amounts than normal. Everyone will get limited eventually. If you read what he posted, they randomly screen accounts. Maybe he used a virtual credit card. His credit card expired. Etc. Either way, you are not answering his question.

You sold a WoW character for $500. Paypal froze your account before you could cash it out. You have a CC attached to your account but it's expired.

nope its a new cc they took the money n verified it but they said i had 2 paypal accounts so they locked both when one was from a few years ago
