Re: Changes to The SSP!
Sua
The comma works as a separator. Its main role is to indicate the structure of sentences and to make their meaning clear by showing which words belong together and which do not.
A comma does not infer a future event - if anything a colon does that.
Given the way you create words and make up meanings sua - you are no communications expert....
Suzanne wrote it wrong - or maybe she did write it right

Re: Changes to The SSP!
note also sua picks on suzanne bad grammar as an article to defend . In itself a minor point.. but the other actions of the bod are defenceless . .

Yes I know what a comma means . . . but obviously you and Suzanne do not!!!
I think it's high time the BOD/mods/vols take an English course so they can communicate effectively with their members.

Re: Changes to The SSP!
Main Entry: com·ma
Pronunciation: 'kä-m&
Function: noun
Etymology: Late Latin, from Latin, part of a sentence, from Greek komma segment, clause, from koptein to cut —more at CAPON
Date: 1554
1 : a punctuation mark, used especially as a mark of separation within the sentence
2 : PAUSE, INTERVAL
3 : any of several nymphalid butterflies (genus Polygonia) with a silvery comma-sh
Obviously definition 3 does not apply! However 1 and 2 does! Separation, Pause or an interval
FOr those that do not know what Interval means :
Main Entry: in·ter·val
Pronunciation: 'in-t&r-v&l
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English intervalle, from Middle French, from Latin intervallum space between ramparts, interval, from inter- + vallum rampart —more at WALL
Date: 14th century
1 a : a space of time between events or states
AS i stated when you take what she said at how it reads, instead of reading into it, she is simply saying what she has said all along.
1. Paying off all past debts occurs first!
2. New structure will be revealed for the membership!
This is why education is so important!!!

Re: Changes to The SSP!
lolol ok then your interpretation of the written word - as written - is different - (btw just so we are clear the word interval in the context of punctuation does not mean that the writer intended to add the passage of time between events; it means an interval to the reader, a pause, as one group of words is separated from another.. You can see from my example right there )
If you're happy you've proven something sua - then that's great
It appears the condescending attitude of the Bod is rubbing off on you...
The way you have written Suzannes post is not the way she wrote it.. nor is it the way that english aware people woud interpret it. And this is btw a silly argument - all I was doing was pointing out that suzanne had indeed got it wrong again.. (ya know trying to educate them in how to communicate) However you have once more peformed your constant quest to support the bod from outside

What we are doing is paying off all past debts, and opening up to the memership for the new structure.

Re: Changes to The SSP!
I dont believe that ROLF.....SUA you are showing desperation BIG time here.
I.T. are hiding something and/or doing something they know will be ripped to peices here where they can't censor or bully, and like a flash ......here you are to cloud the threads with BS. This last crap about a comma is hilarious ....not to mention totally in the BOD tradition of taking the a tiny truth and twisting it into something nothing close to the true.
I.T. isn't paying. It owes thousands of investors millions of dollars.
We don't need educating, we need paying.
We don't care what you say, it won't change facts. The lies recently have been way too blatent. Not everyone posts on the sad ship .....but not a single person I have seen or talked to has a shred of happiness left as far as I.T. are concerned.
That is why I.T. accounts are fr sale all over the web for peanuts. No-one want's them even then. If that is a measure of happiness....they are.
They aren't happy.......they are betrayed, lied to, censored, and insulted.
