If you play these games and HYIP's great! It's a fun pastime and you can make some bucks. HOWEVER, remember that no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to play. If you loose, don't get all pissed off. Just chaulk it up to exp and move on!
I see way too many whiners who talk about "I got ripped off" or "They cheated me!". Well, in reality, it's kind of like you are starting out trying to cheat isn't it? I mean, when you look at the odds and the payout percentages, and if you do your due dilligence you know that there is eventually going to be an point where it all stops. So stop playing the role of the victim and start taking a little responsability for your own actions!
I'd like to add an observation... become cautious when a hyip is in the spotlight.
This has happened many times, a hyips starts off small, pays regularly for a couple of months, then it starts appearing all over the discussion forums, that's when the trouble tends to start.
High exposure seems to lead to hacker attacks, large investments and often speculation. Any one of these seems to lead to the closure of these hyips.
I tend to switch to 100% withdraw when I start seeing a hyip all over the forums once i get my original spend back, i might reinvest some.
i agree.
sometimes even those with good intentions fall prey to other attacks.
the governments, i guess, would like us all to keep working, and paying taxes.
whatever happened to Forex Pips Trading?
he was paying daily, just got a new site, and suddenly dissappeared, without a trace. nothing on this forum prior to of after either? or can hackers access TG as well?
what if PIPS isnt a ponzi, but too much of a threat to the system?
Why is it always considered a rule to try to "get your principal back" asap?
My whole method is, once the principal is in a HYIP I basically kiss it goodbye. The point is these HYIPs aren't "investments". You aren't waiting for them to start "paying off". They're just vehicles to generate an income stream. As long as you can diversify quicker than they can disappear, the income stream will be preserved and you can reinvest your earnings. I think "getting your principal back" is just a distraction.
This is just my very humble opinion. Believe me, two months from now I'll probably come crying back to this forum and tell y'all to forget what I just said, so YMMV.

I always try and get my principal back asap so I can invest that in something else so spreading the risk. As you say as long as you can diversify quicker than they can disappear then you can reinvest your earnings. That way if it does go down you haven't lost out. Much better to have a 100 HYIP's generating around $10 a month each than 1 HYIP generating $1000.

I could be wrong but let's say you have 10 plans w $10 principal each that each pay you $1 per day and they disappear at the rate of one every two days, as long as you quickly find a replacement plan when each one disappears you're still making on average $5 per day even if not a single one ever reaches a positive ROI. Like I say I could be wrong I failed basic arithmetic.
