Default Cook Islands?

Considering an International Company (IC) based in the Cook Islands.

Anyone have any dealings here before? Any suggestions, warnings or recommendations?

Perhaps look at the Cook Islands Trust as the owner of your company, it's supposed to be excellent. Best regards

Cook Islands is ok for setting up companies and trusts, there are also some other interested options there, it is jsut that sometimes banks in Europe for example would look strange to those entities.

What about something like the Nevis Exempt Trust?

They also have pretty strict reporting policies on transactions. You have to report anything over 10,000NZ. Never really thought about Nevis. Had some dealings in St Kitts years ago and loved the place.

The last time I looked the Nevis Exempt and Cook Isles Trusts were pretty much equal as far as asset protection give or take a little except for the price, Nevis was less expensive to set and maintain, best regards
