Re: Handicapper picks sharing. Looking to start a new group.
Hitting 58% percent in the leagues that you mention is not realistic imho. If furthemore results are not verified by a trustworthy 3rd party, then it's 100% scam. A common method that is used a lot in order to give a certain credibility to fake 58+% records works like this: A single person/company sets up many seemingly unrelated tipsters or websites, all supposedly belonging to an "approved" list, all being very profitable and all very expensive. Records are updated daily and when somebody follows a certain tipster/service from the network then the results are updated correctly so it seems that they are genuine. The thing is that when you follow a certain tipster he can no longer maintain his supposedly high hitting percentage and sooner rather than later you will have to stop using him and jump on somebody else who seems to be doing better, thinking that you were just unlucky. Pick prices are intentionally very high, so that nobody can follow a certain tipster for too long, especially as he will be have to also bear the losses from the picks. Also, when somebody starts following a tipster, his records will be nowhere close to 58% for the period that you get his picks and this deters others from followiing him at the same time. So when you stop following a tipster they can again make his records look good. For the trick to work, 2 things are needed: 1) big number of tipsters, so that clients are spread among many tipsters 2) expensive prices, so nobody can follow a tipster for very long.
There are well documented scams like the above, like handicapping police and all the participating tipsters, like www.eddiehawk.com, www.documentedhandicappers.com, etc. All of the tipsters are fake, it's just a single company employing the method that I described above.
If however, there is evidence or proof that the tipsters that you propose are genuine I would be willing to participate.
Finally, I have my own list of services that I follow for years, results are *very* satisfying, odds availabilty and liquidity are excellent, they are independently proofed and I am looking for people willing to share the cost, which is quite high. All details and records available to anyone interested on request.
