hmm, seems uniclear is not THAT much lower, and you do get hit by the exchange fee between USD->Cad->USD because the card fund is in Canadian. Also, US citizen would be considered International, I believe, and get hit by the higher fees that way...
I also like that XLCard have a visa card
I suppose I'll keep my xlcard for now

What are you talking about?! You don't seem to understand, UniCard does not fund in Canadian dollars only! You can choose your currency funding! LOL! You can choose USD, Canadian currency funding, lol! You are misleading those posters. Please understand and read more before posting!
Ok, they got back to me finally and fixed the issue. They said I didnt do something I know I did, but put it through manually. SO the card is in the mail
A-Train, I believe the base currency for the Debit Card itself is in canadian, not in USD, and can't be changed. I wasn't talking about the fund in the account itself.

I
open an account, deposit funds via egold and ordered my card within 5 minutes and this was 12 hours ago.
Now A-train is right about currency, there is many options USD, CAD, EURO and you can even open some more currency subaccounts to feel confident with your own currency, so the price for the debit is indeed in canadian CAD$10 but then you can see that USD$8.50 have been deduced from your account.

LOL! Wrong!
You really didn't understand! I guess you haven't open an account yet at UniClear that's why you have no idea at all! LOL!
