what, is everyone crazy? I am new to this, but the clever theivery seems obvious: how can there be a thread here on how to close an HYIP....meaning that those who start them want to know the best way to cut their losses, making a profit , of course, while cheating people out of their money with false promises, never meant to be kept (for someone,) anyway..someone will loose out..... maybe "legit" investments are no better.... oh what a world we live in!

Ponzihyip was not even a ponzi. He was supposed to pay until it ran out of funds to pay. Instead he left when there was $40,000 left in the pool.

He was in it just to make money. That is why everyone that owns a HYIP is in it for.

Not everyone dude. A few elite individuals open HYIPs to make profits for their members.

I never seen a person run a web site that includes large sums of money & do it just to make other people money & him not get any money. I hope you don't think you people run HYIP's & just make other people rich or richer & them get poorer.

Ponzi means members are paid with members income, so most of the time the first few hundreds got paid and then site shut, admin usually do a runner with what he estimate to be enough cash for him to cashout.

Just make up a really interesting excuse... such as your fish almost dies and it cost $400 000 (or whatever the funds your running off with are) for an operation on it. Make them feel bad andannounce your fish died anyway and get emotional about not even making enough money to save your fish. Proceed to buy a fish market.
