It happen when i test $1 program. within less than 20min, got 1 message in my Yahoo! Email - **AccSent PIN** --> this is what they cannot harvest , because my e-gold setting is HIGH.. They harvested my passphrase, which i immediately change when i saw the Yahoo E-mail.

DO NOT TRUST program without membership...

Some suspect :

Practise not to have same password for email, hyip/autosurf, and e-gold.

One very important think is NEVER use your EG password to anything else, you shouldn't recycle your e-mail pass too, as it's very possible that you have important passwords received by program registrations, etc.

Noted that some antispyware or antiadware software is sypware or adware. I have this kind of bad experience before. Better do a completed search before you install any. You can scan your pc online with popular site, example

Use RoboForm. It stores your passwords and generates new ones randomly.

guess i am abit paranoid, i keep all my passwords on a piece of paper next to my computer..i wont use roboform for that, cause in case my computer's security gets comprimised, i bet roboform will too..and what if roboform somehow gets exploited... i am not saying it will happen but i rather not use roboform or store it in my computer, y add more liabilities

It really not seems like a good idea. What if someone sees the paper and mentally records your pass for later use? It's even worse if such a person knows what e-gold is =)
IMO.

Hitano1, linux is as safe as the user... it's much more secure in the way of trojan, and such, but a linux system improperly configured and not updated will be as unsafe as anything.

Be careful, make sure you update everything regularly, set protections properly and such.

thanks trinary, i'm getting RED HAD Linux installed soon, over the weekend. Hope that all are ok.
