Legitimate Investment Pool - Would You Be Interested?
Hello Fellow Talkgold Members,
Over the past 6 months I've been researching various eBay businesses that are making anywhere between $1,000 to $3,000 per month, in profit, just by selling their own information product. Usually, this product is about making some extra side income on eBay.
I've recently been in contact with a few of these business owners, and they're willing to sell their eBay businesses for about 6 months income. What this means, if their eBay business makes $1,000 a month, they're willing to sell it for $6,000 which is a great deal.
I'm an internet marketer myself. I write these kinds of eBooks & know how to market them very well. Immediately, I can tell you that purchasing a PROVEN business for 6 months income is a great deal. As well, I can instantly increase profits of these businesses by +20% in a days work.
Would you be interested in investing your money in a pool fund, that purchases PROFITABLE eBay Businesses, and returns your investment, with a nice profit on top of it.
While the ROI won't be as fast as an HYIP, this would be a 100% legitimate opportunity.
What I was willing to suggest, as a ROI plan, would be to double your money in 6-12 months, plus an additional 10% interest, monthly, for another 12 months. So, if you invest $1000, you get back $2000 at the end of 6 months, and then another $1200 every month for 12 months.
I'd like everyone's opinions, as I believe this could interested A LOT of TalkGolder's that are looking for a legitimate way to invest their money.

If you already write successful e-books, why dont you buy it yourself outright and keep all the profits for yourself?
Also, is there any goodwill in their price? Its not going to do you much good if they sell their business and then start another one up selling exactly the same type of product the next day.

Don't you mean $200 / month ?
Anyway I'm interested but would also like the above questions answered

saxifrage,
Because - I'd have a lot more leverage with other people's money, and I could be able to purchase more businesses with a larger pool of funds.
As well, of course I would protect people's investments with a agreement about future competition. The person I buy the business from, wouldn't be allowed to sell the same eBook, as now I would be the owner of the copyrights. However, they could write new eBooks/start a new business,
which wouldn't be bad. The market is large enough to have lots of different eBooks competing, and if their new eBook/business succeeds, I'd be willing to purchase it once again.
aidanb01,
It would be 10% monthly of the gross profits. The $2000/month figure was an example, but there are many eBooks that are currently selling $1000-$4000 a month on eBay. As well, as an internet marketer, I know how to increase the sales immediately, just by changing a few things.
What I like about this investment pool is that it would be a LIMITED pool, and there would be no guessing as to where the income is coming from. Since it is a legitimate opportunity, I would be able to show records of all transactions.

Information products are great. They're high profit, low cost, and relatively easy to market. As well, it is very easy to grow an existing information product business that is system ed, such as these eBay ones that I'd like to invest in.

You mean misleading information inside these ebooks? Huh!.. and who is reselling overpriced domains and hosting? Does $10/month for domain and hosting overpriced? Even if I pay $100/month I will do it as long as I am earning a couple of thousands doing it in legal way...and beneficial to others...
