Are online paid surveys legitimate?

I am thinking about trying online paid surveys. But before I do, I thought I would ask the forum if anyone has had any experience with them.

Your comment would be sincerely appreciate.

My personal opinion is that you should choose the ones you do carefully.

Some are genuine and really want your opinions for research but some just want to harvest your email address and phone number so they can bombard you with spam.

Likewise, some will actually pay you but others will enter you in a 'prize draw'.

I beg to disagree. The best survey sites all maintain your privacy and will not send you any spam. Among these I would include surveysavvy, ACOP, globaltestmarket, NFO, NPD, opinion outpost, Greenfield, Ciao, Pinecone, to name a few.
A few which has been known to send some spam mailings are Survey Networks, Panda Research. But you can avoid them by carefully choosing what to tick while signing up and if necessary using a second email.
Also never pay for getting a survey database, it is all free. Never pay money to the likes of surveyscout. Some free databases like survey-club are also good spammers.

I have been enjoying doing online surveys for some time and in my experience they are good enough to give some good extra money. To maximise your earnings you should join with maximum possible sites and complete all your profiles in each sites.

The answer is NO.
paid surveys, assemble at home, etc...are just simple and easy scams...

Yeah, paid surveys are pretty much worthless. Yeah you will get paid, but it's just not worth the time you have to put in. I did them for a long time, and maybe got $10 dollars and a crap load of spam.

As far as I know, most survey companies are will not send spam. Some companies which pretend to be survey sites, but actually are marketers like surveyclub, MBS internet and all may send you spam.

Not all survey sites are scams.The thing is you have pick the right ones.Yeah,you can earn some decent money in the long term.So go for it.But,never try sites that enter you into a prize draw.Such sites are obvious scams.
