Yogibrood Gets Yelled At

Well Shell, no offense to you directly, but I was speaking to Yogi, who has a tendency towards abusing posters. If you read the beginning of this thread you will notice that Yogi took to task one young poster whom Yogi knows nothing about. I have noticed in the past this go on time after time and I decided that he needed a little bringing down to earth. If you don't feel it was valid, then you may take me to task for it, but I doubt very definitely that it will change my mind.

I agree wholeheartedly w/ you that attitude is everything, and that, my dear, is why I said what I said. The abuse of power is an ugly thing, and moderators should moderate not wield the power in an abusive way, imho.

Yogi believes in some way that he is better than most, and I highly doubt that he is. And if for some reason he really is better, then he should act as if he isn't. Humility is an awesome thing.

And you may notice in all of my posts to him I defend myself from his attacks and bring up the fact that his english grammer is very poor and hard to understand. I brought this up to give Yogi a bit of his own medicine and I am fairly sure that anyone will doubt the fact that it is also true.

I call a truce to all of this here and now, but I would like this to be a wake up call of sorts to Yogi. He can be an instrumental part of an awesome forum and guide dialog here that will better inform all of us; or he could be an abusive moderator who throws his weight and power in poor form, causing good, intellectual banter to go to the wayside and be replaced w/ name-calling, off topic trash and basically an environment similar to TG.

It's up to him... we'll see which way he chooses to go.
