In my judgment criminal law in a free society must be carefully crafted to target wrongful conduct, and not be used simply to ameliorate adverse consequences attributable to a failure to act. Criminal sentencing should therefore reflect the distinction between those who act and those who are vicariously responsible for the acts of others, and reserve the more severe condemnation and loss of liberty for those who are direct participants in criminal conduct.The current director/officer provisions of the proposed amendment lack that distinction and ought, therefore, to be revised.

The problem is right now, we have an out of control US government. Out of control FBI, US Prosecutors, Juries that are duped by the government, and a system of courts and presidents that no longer respect our privacy. I want to start a class action suit or something against the FBI for unjustly raiding e-gold and taking my information.
But I don't think anyone will join for fear of retribution. I see it happen all the time in government. It is like kicking the beast. Once you do that the beast goes after you fast. I am not trying to scare people, e-gold is great, e-business is great, I am just telling you to be wise and be careful of the US authorities.
1anonymousperson, way to go. you are reading my minds! i'm thinking about making a web-site right now where people will be able to read all interesting stuff about their government that was never told by mass media. It wiil be not only about US but whatever interesting i find about any country. There also will be lots of stuf on KGB and Russia. People will also be able to post their stories, how personally they suffered from them.
Do you think such a web-site will survive and won't be closed?
Thanks for your post. I appreciate your reply to this very serious topic. People have to understand how this is important to all of us. I am not a conspiracist. I have seen hundreds of real live cases. When our government fails to protect our liberties and to supervise the FBI, NSA, District Attorneys and most of all our Prosecutors, this country has serious problems with almost two million people incarcerated, EIGHT times more than Western Europe, this is scary. We need people who believe in our rights to privacy and civil liberties so we can enjoy the freedom to live and invest. I have seen so many cases first hand and they would make any reasonable person shocked and outraged.
I am all in support of you creating a website. However I would caution you to have a friend overseas manage it all because our government likes retribution. Or else do it anonymously, there are lots of providers that care about free speech.
My promise is that I would send you a contribution to start the site. It would be neat if we could advertise on google adwords and yahoo search marketing under some interesting key words. It could get people aware of what is happening.
This country will become like the Russia and KGB, prying into our lives and prosecuting us at will. Our founding fathers like Jefferson and Franklin would be rolling in their graves. I feel like I almost have a duty to get the word out there how bad things really are. Just go to your local Federal or State court and sit in a criminal trial for a few hours. You will get the experience of lifetime and it will show you what is happening right now in your community or district.
All I can do is tell other people. What they do with the information is up to them, but the word has to get out there or else I feel like I have failed in spreading the truth of the people destroyed because of our government abuse and over reaching.
If only I could take out full page ads and run TV commercials, we would all care more about our liberties and not take them for granted. But I don’t have the money to do that yet. Who knows, dreams can come true. All of us would become more aware and our nation would become stronger. But as a start all our posts come up in search engines as soon as google gets hold of them.
I am sure some of them do. They also have families to feed and things they want to buy. They may have some better opportunities for DD though... Comes with the JOB
