Who Here uses Adwords?

Just wondering how many of you use adwords and do you have good results?

I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked for me for a script that I am selling.

Yes, I use adwords and have been very pleased with the results. My profit ratio is 1:3. For each dollar I spend I get 4 back. That is a $3 profit on each dollar I spend....but your success rate has a lot to do with what you are selling. There is no question, there are tons of willing customers that click those ads, and there is a lot of money to be easily made by using this advertising method, but you have to have a product or deal people want.

Yes it works for me too. I market forex affiliate programs through Google Adwords and the result was awesome!

May I know guys how much do you spend per click (if this is allowed)? I use adwords but with only minimal click results...

I'll go as high as I need to to be above the fold (where you don't have to scroll to see my add). It depends on the price, quality and popularity of the product, but I have gone a little over $1.50 per click....depends on the competition. Most items I have up there right now are running me approximately $1.00 a click.

I have actually signed up for Yahoo's marketing which is exactly the same as google adwords. However, I haven't really used it yet.

It's on my to do list, my goal is to find a good affiliate product to sell and do some test campaigns, and see if I can find some that will be profitable.

I haven;t had time to do it yet, however it is on my things to do list.

For anyone here that is an affiliate marketer and has any tips on good affiliate products, please feel free to share, im always open to expanding my knowledge base.

I use them almost exclusively. Been selling products this way for a few years - profiably I might add. The trick is finding low cost keywords and good products that convert into sales. Or you could build your email list successfully this way.
I've tried Yahoo Search with minimal results.

I use them for the affordable campaigns. Some campaigns are just too expensive due to aggressive bidding. For them I go to search networks that use periodic, flat-rate billing.

cjsu, when you say products, do you mean you sell products via affiliate sales or your own products?
