I've never been a banker but until I started reading about scams I had never heard anyone claiming to be in banking or finance use the term "banking facility" 'banking solution" or "banking platform" in relation to a real product.
Count on it kids, the real money they make here will be how many times they can sell you identity @ $15 or so....

We might also call it , "Pocket Change Theft"
Don't forget this is a sophisticated con to unsophisticated investors who feel they are only throwing pocket change at this. If we can actually believe their website software numbers as to memberships and policies that are published out there, then this Pocket Change has added up quite nicely inside someone's offshore bank accounts. So these mostly ignorant saps are totally unaware that their $40 is actually a membership fee which as their Terms tell them , cannot and will not be returned to them. Even though they also mislead these suckers into believing it's also an investment.

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
Could be a first... The only group of people ever to actually pay to have their ID stolen. ; )
One sure way to know - Don't show them yours until they show you theirs. Any legitmate company will understand reservations regarding ID theft and the need for disclosures on their side and will present a reasonable solution. If they can't, then that tells you all you need to know.

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
Supposedly there are new updates on the forum. Anyone had a chance to read the latest and greatest update from Stella, or was this her explanation of the banking situation?

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
Just a thought, but if you "voluntarily and willingly" give your personal information to crooks, can you still claim "identity theft?"

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
I'm not sure though someone that spends $40 thinking they are getting 55 to 70K may be called a victim of their lack of common sense or worse .......... in some eyes.
I know the trouble with identity theft in some cases you don't know you are a victim for ages months even a year or more,
Why its good to regularly get a free copy of your credit history to see if anyone has tried anything. At least you can start to deal with it Local police station is the first stop in oz I think then credit reference bureau , banks etc
Ps why the request for bank info wasn't there some plan for a off shore bank acc for all members?

Maybe because of the identy theft issues. They asked for a fax copy of your drivers license and all that. What will they do with it? It has all of your identity on them, and you do not want to send something important like that to them because you really do not know who is behind this program.

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
If they're dumb enough to send all of their info off into a black hole with the connections that this one has to shady fake offshore banks and the rotating Latvian women who accept Western Union wires for them, etc., then they get what they deserve. If you have even one tiny granule of common sense, you'd know that's just an absolutely dumb thing to do just on principle alone.
What bothers me more is that these knuckleheads will be loading up whoever's behind this with thousands of passports and other IDs with verifiable back-up info that they can use and/or sell to others potentially with consequences that affect many more beyond just them. Yeah, I know Chico, et. al., that's ridiculous and could NEVER happen...
