OH NO!!! The cat's out of the bag!
And they'd been able to keep it so well hidden on the Internet so far. lmao
Have a link or can you get a copy? I couldn't find it searching their online version. Be interesting to see what they say.

All of you should know by my previous posts that:
1. I have a deep long and insight into insurance and merchant banking.
2. The "surprise" announcement is based purely on the statistical/acturial
analysis, of the bold performance to many people of the total program GPP.
3. What they are simply doing is building a financial instrument to be traded.....

To answer the questions re the source of this, it's from the SecureYourFuture forum, a private forum run by john@future4me.com and was posted by "Jonathan" aka "fastmoney."
If it's not obvious from the earlier post, I could post some other extracts that further demonstrate that "fastmoney" knows no more than any of the rest and relies on the same old "TEPs have been traded from the 1800's," "I'm an expert in this industry [because he worked on the servers at an insurance trade association lol]," and faith-based "how did man fly to the moon?" lines of reasoning.
John's "trusted source" for intro of GPP to members of his forum was through Warren/Donald English which should ring some bells for those who are familar with the source. As I'd said yesterday, yet another well known serial promoter of failed HYIP and other online investment schemes saying "trust me."
Which reminds me, if the proposed "Banking Solution" involves Southern Star or Megasol (also associated with English), then RUN! lol

You mean they found space after the Diana Inquest
This GPP thing is following the the same sequence of events as many other well run scams of the last few years.
Just to repeat.....GPP and all the other "pension" plans are carbon copies of a whole tranche of scams which were around c. 2001. Everybody was screwed then and history is repeating itself.
None of the excuses are even original.....Bottom line is they fall into "the dog ate my homework" category.
Best wishes

Yeah, I was wondering if maybe they'd uncovered that GPP actually was run by aliens with a magic money-duplicating ray gun. Which would be as believable as most of the other explanations that we've seen.

I don't care which side you are on, your post was one of the most informative and succinct posts on GPP anywhere. Thanks.

Re: GlobalPensionPlan - Globalpensionplan.net
Article from the Daily Express 1/23/2008.
Even the British tabloids aren't buying their BS:
Quote:
EASY MONEY: Get rich quick schemes are nearly always frauds
AN INVESTMENT scheme that promises to turn ***8364;30 (£22) into ***8364;55,000 bears a striking resemblance to a scam, according to experts.
The Global Pension Plan scheme which claims in its marketing literature is a "brilliant" project could rip off 100,000 unsuspecting victims, making millions in profits for the organisers if it proves to be a con. It appears to work like a pyramid scheme, where each new member is encouraged to sign up more joiners. To help attract recruits, the scheme provides a glossy brochure which explains how they plan to turn ***8364;30 into ***8364;55,000, using members' names to buy and then sell insurance policies. It is not registered with chief City watch¬dog the Financial Services Authority and the main organisers are not contactable; each member's only point of contact is the person who recruited them.
Des Fitzpatrick at the Office of Fair Trading Scambusters team says:
"The emphasis is on the small amount of cash needed from each investor, which is often the case with scams."
"The scheme is unregulated, so it offers little protection against losing your money. The people behind the scheme are anonymous, which gives no way of assessing who is in charge. They have put forward what appears to be a simple version of a complex issue, based on a number of assumptions. One potential problem is that investors may not qualify for the 'endowment' needed to make the cash return that is promised."
"We advise consumers to be cautious before entering schemes like this."
The scheme requires members to provide identification such as their birth certificate or driving licence, which opens up opportunities for identity theft should the scheme turn out to be fraudulent.
Tom McPhail, the head of pension research at Hargreave; Lansdown, says:
"If anyone is tempted to invest in this, they shouldn't. I looks like a scam."
"It has all the hallmarks of a scheme designed to relieve the unwary of their hard-earned cash: for example, the outrageous rate of return required -183,233 per cent over six months - as well as the fact that the scheme refers to a respectable investment: endowments."
"But what these people say they are selling is not an endowment."
"The e-mail address at the end, Hotmail account, is not exactly credible either."
The Global Pension Plan website now says registration will close at the end of the month.

I responded to the article in MMG forum---not saying GPP is real or not---have my doubts.. But reportage was lazy and boilerplate---REAL reporter would have tracked down Stella and had Scotland Yard haul her off in chains lol...
The only thing lazier than today's "reporters" are government "spokesmen"
