In the UK to advise on endowments the customer has to sign a disclaimer because they are viewed as poor investments due the cash element needed to support the guarantee aka the sum assured
The quotation portal known as the exchange which run by exweb and used by all independant Financial Advisers(Google it) wont even issue an illustration for new endowments and the only ones being offered are tax free exempt plans upto an maximum of £25 per month.
If any company could get endowments issued in this number it would be quite amazing , apart from the fact that the maths dont work i.e the initial premium would be higher than the guarenteed amount payable so yoiu would be stupid to even do it.
To anyone in the financial industry this is a pretty obvious scam. however I expect this is a little known plan known only to the elite who have to sign confidentiality agreements to particpate.....yawn....
