That is of course the problem.. buying the legit script encoded gives no security against being hacked.. its been proven by many members here that the script that GC sells is full of thier own backdoors. So its not a viable script.

It only becomes viable once it has been decrypted patched and repaired.

While I agree all commercial script discussion should be removed from the forum script security and patching is a large part of what the admin section is for isnt it ???

Hi there sorry to bump an old topic up but I having a problem with the hyip manager script that Im installing. When I tried to make a test deposit from another egold account it doesnt show up into my account on the site or change the stats, so I guess you can call it the missing deposits problem.

Anyone know how to fix thix?

It has been proven and can be proven once more that the original GC script is loaded with backdoors. I think rules should be implemented for the greater good. If the greater good meant keeping people from selling pirated copies of buggy scripts at the expense of GoldCoders, I would be more than understanding. However, as I said earlier the original GC script is loaded with its own backdoors. I understand that the selling of pirated copies should not be allowed, but can we have permission to discuss the removal of default backdoors etc.? I think this would be in the best interest of all talkgold users who participate in HYIP programs. Thank you for your consideration.

This is simply not true. I have yet to see a program that is using a LEGITIMATE, LICENSED COPY of the GC script go down b/c it was compromised. You can always check to see if a program is using a licensed copy by going here.

The sites that end up having problems with the GC script are almost always the ones using illegal/modified/hacked versions.
